Therefore steel industries around the world have catered to the needs of the people by acting as the source for employment. It is responsible for direct employment but at the same time, millions of people employed in supplier and end-user industries are indirectly benefitted from it. Most importantly, steel industries have been instrumental in lifting millions of people in the world out of poverty.
