SAIL records more than 36% jump in sales in November 2019

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has recorded an over 36 percent sales growth during the month of November 2019 on a year on year basis. As per the company statement the sales during November 2019 stood at 1.409 Million Tonnes.

Commenting on the jump in sales, Shri Anil Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman, SAIL said, “The Company expects a positive consumption sentiment. While focusing on ramping up its production particularly from its modernized units, the Company is also taking several customers centric measures including providing customized products”.

The Company has already launched a cost control drive across its Plants and Units which is expected to bring down the cost of production and increase profitability.

At the same time, looking at picking the pulse of consumers, SAIL is focusing to enhance its product range to suit the customers’ requirements along with increasing value-added products. The company has recently launched new products like SAIL-SeQR TMT and NEX, the new age structurals, which are now well-accepted products in the market.
