JSPL third Quarter FY20 financial results

Jindal Steel and Power Limited has reported consolidated crude steel production of 2.03 million tonnes, up 21 percent YoY whereas the crude steel sales stood at 2.18 million tonnes, up 32 percent YoY. The consolidated turnover in the quarter declined to Rs 9,300 crore from Rs 9,566 crore in the comparative quarter of the previous fiscal.

Jindal Steel and Power Limited have reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 219 crore for the third quarter of the FY20 while the net loss was Rs 87 crore for the same quarter of the financial year 2018-2019. The company, on a consolidated level, produced 2.11 million tonnes of steel & related products, up 19 percent from 1.77 million tonnes produced in the same quarter of the previous fiscal and sold 2.24 million tonnes of steel and related products, up 30 percent from 1.73 million tones produced in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
